Naltar valley is a popular tourist attraction, around 54 km from Gilgit City. It has thick forests, crystal-clear lakes, and skiing facilities in the winter.
Naltar Valley can only be enjoyed in the summer months when the lakes are not frozen and the weather is pleasant. To reach this valley, tourists will have to hire a jeep because there is no form of public transport to reach the area. There are numerous hotel cabins and guesthouses to accommodate tourists in the valley.
