Trapped in Helplessness

A feeling of powerlessness, A sense of being trapped, The weight of the world on your shoulders, And no way to adapt. You try to break free, But the chains are too strong, You scream for help, But no one comes along. Lost in a sea of despair, With no hope in sight, You struggle and fight, But it's a losing fight. Helplessness consumes you, It's all that you know, And in the end, you realize, You're never letting go.

Hate's Painful Grasp

Shrouds of darkness blocking out the light An unrelenting scourge with a voracious appetite It's cobweb of hatred entangles our hearts Devouring us piece by piece, slowly tearing us apart. We see it in the streets and we feel it in our fears It is a feeling that brings pain and tears We can't ignore it, try as we might As its powerful grip keeps us in its sight No matter how hard our efforts, hatred won't be quashed It will continue looming large until our trembling hearts have crashed So may we

Marriage or Obligation

Often in Africa, or in many parts of the world People don't marry because they are actually prepared, But because the circumstances led them to do it as if it were something better in the world. Was it marriage or an obligation? Since people are already united! Getting married because the parents made it or because there are no conditions for survival, In an insecure environment, full of uncertainties about the future That forces someone to choose the path of marriage to stop the influence of in

Loyalty's Call

Loyalty is a noble trait, A bond that's built to last, A promise made to never break, Through future and through past. It's standing strong through thick and thin, A steadfast heart and soul, A trust that's earned through deeds and words, And never bought or sold. It's the courage to stand by your friends, When others turn away, A bond that's forged through trials and tests, And strengthened every day. Loyalty's call is clear and strong, A beacon in the night, A guiding light that leads us on, T

Love

Love is like an earthquake shaking up the ground beneath Stronger than all the land only found when two souls meet Like blinding bright sunshine illuminating both their hearts Mattifying the harshness showing them a brand new start Sparking a flame of passion burning hot and wild Bringing laughter and joy from which two hearts are bound Love is a power so grand one a person can't defend It wakes us up each morning and leads us through until the end

TRULY I LOVE YOU

.........How do I....... How do I tell you That your touch melt my heart like dews And your words Pierce my heart like a sword. How do I tell you That ever time I stare at you I wish I could hold your hands And lie lie by your side. How do I tell you That every word I say to you I utter with fear And a drop of tear. How do I tell you in your arms I wish to sink And from your lips I wish to drink Our heads I will link And your lovely eyes I wish to stare without a blink. How do I tell you How muc

Mother's Love

Mother's love is like a river, It flows deep and wide, It never stops, no matter the weather, It's always by your side. It's like a warm embrace, That never fades away, It's there when you need it, No matter what you say. It's like a gentle breeze, That blows away your fears, It's like a bright light, That guides you through the years. It's like a beautiful song, That brings you joy and peace, It's like a warm hug, That never fails to please. Mother's love is like a gift, It's something that wil

A sweet personality

The woman who loves me is my mother, She takes the trouble so we can go further. She is one who is sweet as bun, She taught us to be one.

'Nature' Is What We See Poem by Emily Dickinso

'Nature' is what we see— The Hill—the Afternoon— Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee— Nay—Nature is Heaven— Nature is what we hear— The Bobolink—the Sea— Thunder—the Cricket— Nay—Nature is Harmony— Nature is what we know— Yet have no art to say— So impotent Our Wisdom is To her Simplicity.
