ETTA "BLACK CAT" EGBE (ENYI BROS): THE STORY OF A BOY WHO RETURNED TO THE GOALPOSTS IN HOPE WADDELL

Every generation of Hope Waddell Hall has its unforgettable personalities—young men whose names, long after the school bell has fallen silent, continue to echo through reunions, old photographs, and cherished memories. For the Hope Waddell of '73, one such name is Etta "Enyi Bros" Egbe. To his classmates, he was simply Enyi Bros; to football lovers across Nigeria, he became the legendary "Black Cat," the fearless goalkeeper whose spectacular saves earned him a place among the country's finest cu

Hope!

I tried to sleep but couldn't All the while my eyes were closed, I kept thinking About my problems, about the situation I'm in I've given them a deep thought Although the thoughts have little to no way of solving any of them But for some reason, over thinking makes everything fine By Tuesday, Tuesday... Hopefully I'd be able to solve 1/6 of them August! A month of hope I have so much hope for the month of August So much joy, so much expectations I hope it never comes to naught I hope everything

The poor Boy

Cracks in the floor, filled with old cardboard. Plastic on the windows, blankets on the doors. Newspaper on the plumbing, wood stacked by the stove. Preparing for the winter, when I was just a boy

An ill-fated waiting

You are late by one hour and it has made a tower of feelings hurt in my mind in this evening, leaving me alone behind hundreds of couples, girls and boys involved in conversations without noise. A lot of delicious desires and plots of dreamy dramas are all bland and now I shout at them- "Go to blazes!" hurling away all fancy imaginations, images. It is time to go back to the ceramic city lacking an excellent experience and treaty though at last you came- that is carrying the day in fame! 14-08-2

Embracing Hope in the Future

The poem reflects on the uncertainty of the future but encourages us to embrace hope as we journey forward. It speaks of the challenges we'll face, such as climate change, but also of our ability to adapt and find new solutions. Technology will advance, but human connection will remain important. The poem concludes with a message of resilience and a call to face the future with a positive attitude.

Could there be a better future for me?

There's hope for everyone as long as you're still breathing, don't kill yourself, read this story and be blessed by it.

Could there be a better future for me?

Finding hope

Finding hope is the binding of life with the continuation of being alive, finding hope is the means of resources with which to live on. Finding hope is the finding of the moon in the darkness of night nestling in life, finding hope is the sparkle of light in the blind eyes. The great misconduct in our life is not to try to find hope on merely seeing a misfortune standing on the threshold of happening. When hard times or troubles come treat them like chances to prove yourself capable of discoveri
