The Tiny Stranger At George

One day at a pet shop, I met a man selling socks, For money he wanted to swap, But I really wanted some white fox. "Got any white fox?" asked I. "For that's how I'll spend my money." "No white fox here!" said the guy. He seemed to find it quite funny. "We've got some lovely crisps, I'll give you a very fine price." "I'd rather have some wisps." The man blinked rapidly thrice. The man seemed exceptionally energetic, And his manner was strangely amused. He wasn't what I would call electromagnetic,

Rights of a Child

I am a child which I can do different things Each and every things which my parents told on me. Be good at all times and don't forget to pray God Because God protects me from any harm or in danger. I have the rights to be born and to lived once As I can see, the happy, happy, morning sun Their tender love and care make me be more lively. Through their gently touching makes me more been smiling. As a child, I have a right to play and have fun And to listen my beautiful teacher at school Who teaches me in a good manner and right conduct. As I grew up and molded to be a better man. Thanks for my Mama and Papa for schooling me. They are the one who guide me when I'm growing up, To make myself respectful and courteous. And to be a good leader and a follower.

Fred the rich man

There once was a rich man named Fred, Whose wealth was so vast, it spread. He had mansions and yachts galore, But he was still a terrible bore. One day, Fred was walking down the street, When he saw a homeless man sleeping at his feet. Fred laughed and said, "Look at you, so poor, While I have more money than I can endure." The homeless man looked up and said, "I may be poor, but I'm not dead. I may not have mansions and yachts, But I have friends and I'm not a sot." Fred was so angry, he turned

Grievance

A heavy weight upon my chest, It's like a stone, it won't be pressed. I try to breathe, but it's too much, I'm drowning in this ocean of such. I want to scream, but no sound comes out, I'm trapped inside this silent shout. I want to cry, but no tears will fall, I'm dry and empty, like a desert wall. I want to run, but my legs won't move, I'm stuck here, like a statue in the groove. I want to die, but I'm too afraid, Of what comes next, I'm so afraid. So I sit here, in this dark and cold, With my

Vengeful Flames

Burning bright with fury and hate, Revenge consumes me, it's my fate. I'll make them pay for what they've done, My anger rises like the sun. I'll plot and plan, I'll bide my time, Until the moment is just right. Then I'll strike with all my might, And watch them suffer in my sight. No mercy will I show to those, Who wronged me and caused my woes. Their pain will be my sweetest pleasure, As I exact my vengeful measure. But as the flames of revenge die down, I'll be left with nothing but a frown.

Hell’s Angel

I fell like tears on a rainy day Down to my doom and awakening Enlightened with feelings afresh and motives anew I have now evolved into self discovery Broken and reformed into a masterpiece One Pablo would be proud of It is in this new form that I dare to challenge all boundaries and conformity for I have met with the bulls eyes I’ll indulge you once or twice But where were you before my rebirth

IN MY SHOES

When I was born I was without shoes Now as an adult I find myself in different shoes Some of them I choose to buy Some were gifts or so I thought Others, I can't just tell How I got them But, I never stole any. Some of these shoes fit perfectly Some don't fit Some are way too big Others are too tight Yet I wear them Enduring the discomfort. When you see me having them on You admire them on my feet But you may not understand that 'He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches'. We all wear these s

RESPECT

Don't command respect but persuade respect. Don't disregard it but appreciate it. Don't take it for granted but rather take it as a privilege and value it . Cos they respect you doesn't mean they should be oppressed. Cos they respect you doesn't mean they should be taken as a fool. Cos they respect you doesn't mean they should be used as a slave. Cos they respect you doesn't mean they should be treated as trash. Respect they say is reciprocal ,believe and accept the fact. Don't always exact aggr

I'm just one (poetry)

They say I'm two, but I'm just one, A mystery to unravel, yet to be undone. I stand before them, flesh and bone, But they see two, a duality unknown. They question my existence, my very being, As if two souls within me are disagreeing. But I assure them, with every breath I take, That I am one, my heart and soul at stake. They point to my contradictions, my every flaw, As if two personas within me are at war. But I tell them, with every word I speak, That I am one, my identity not weak. For I am
