Haunted Dreams

I had this problem of having nightmares early this year to the extent of not sleeping.I was afraid if sleeping but poetry kept me moving Writting out what and how i felt really helped me alot. Thank you poetry.

The promises he made

This is a loss and love poem The poem begins and ends in the usual formal way, however the poem informs as about a someone who made many promises to his lover in line (1-5). Now the lover is left with pain and regrets regarding the promises he made to her in line (6-9) The writter lists the time of the day he left his lover and how he disappeared and the regrets the lover is feeling in line (10-15).The poet uses the formal language of official notification in listing several nonsensical condition for tenancy, however the writter informs us that even though the love is left alone but she doesn't lose hope that he will return home and meet the promises he made to her in line (16-17)

A shoulder to cry on A shoulder to cry on is better than gold, In dark times  it gives energy to go on. Lights that were turned off  will be turn on while it comforts like a mother to new born giving hope and erasing pain of what is gone. A shoulder to cry on help you to mourn providing company until you set on new dawn. It understand why you cry and what you lost. It doesn’t intent to show off hence it never fall short and comes from the least expected with no cost.
