A lantern
In Bangladesh a lantern is not use as a light source in anywhere. But now It's using for decorate room,hall or outside of VIP complex.
This picture is captured in THE KING OF CHITTAGONG convention center. They used it to decorate their garden wchic is beautify the gardens view at night.
