Mother earth, in her beauty,
spleandour, pomp and pity,
Looks at us and sadly sighs.
She has millions of whys;
Why the wars, why the hate
Why the waste, food left on plate
Why the bombs and radiation
Why the quarrels among nations
Why the rivers running toxic
Making everybody sick
Why the rush to destroy
Mother earth, your pride and joy?
