who’s there?  she asked, fear evident in her voice as she walked closer to the kitchen.

The dark figure turned around slowly, revealing a tall man with broad shoulders and a sinister expression on his face. He took a step towards Anna, causing her to step back in fear.

"Well, well, well," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "What do we have here?"

Think about the perfect life; that was what Anna had. All her dreams were aligning and her best moments were watching smiles spread across the faces of her parents at every milestone she achieved.

She was the only child of her parents and they made sure she had everything and never lacked, yet; she never took any of these for granted.

Today Anna stood in the driveway of one of the biggest companies in Atlanta, thinking about how proud her parents would be when she breaks the news of her just concluded interview at Raysons Oil and Gas;

getting home, she couldn't shake off this feeling that something was wrong. her mom would always rush out to welcome her, it was like a family tradition which helped her bond with her mom. but today, there was a strange silence in the atmosphere. she walked closer to the door, using her keys, she went in.

she didn't get any response, she turned the door knob to her parents room and met with the most dreadful sight she had ever seen.

Anna stood in her parents’ bedroom speechless as she stared at the lifeless bodies of her parents, a million and one thoughts already running through her mind.

who could've done this? why did they do this? She didn’t deserve this kind of cruelty life was hitting her with.

just then, she noticed a dark figure walk past into the kitchen and she froze in fear.

who’s there?  she asked, fear evident in her voice as she walked closer to the kitchen.

The dark figure turned around slowly, revealing a tall man with broad shoulders and a sinister expression on his face. He took a step towards Anna, causing her to step back in fear.

Anna's heart pounded in her chest as she tried to think of a way to escape. She looked around for anything she could use as a weapon, but the room was bare except for the lifeless bodies of her parents.

The man took another step forward, closing the gap between them. Anna could smell the stench of alcohol and cigarettes on his breath.

 she begged, her voice barely above a whisper. 

Oh, I'm not going to hurt you, sweetheart," he said. "I'm going to make you mine."

Anna's heart sank as the man stepped closer, his hands reaching for her. She closed her eyes for what seemed like the longest 10 seconds of her entire life waiting for the worst to happen.

Did he want to rape her? death would be a kinder fate than that, not after what he had done to her parents.

"Wait! what did he mean by making her his? all these questions explode in her head, then suddenly she felt it, a needle pricked her and she fell into darkness.

Anna woke up to the most luxurious suite she had ever seen in her life...she tried to collect her memories from the previous night but they were all blurry, all she knew was that she felt a very deep feeling of sadness when she tried recollecting her memories from the previous day.

“Her phone” she remembered, her parents would be so worried about her, she had to call them, maybe they would be able to explain what was going on to her. She looked around but couldn’t find anything that belonged to her.

Just then, the doors to the room flung open.

And a man walked in… “that face” looked so familiar and she tried so hard to remember where she had seen him. Then he spoke.

he said holding her phone up in his hand, then it all came rushing back to her.

“That face!!, that voice!!” images of her parents’ lifeless bodies came rushing over her mind once again and she could feel the room spinning she fell to her knees immediately and the waterfalls came.

She had been kidnapped by the very man who murdered her parents in cold blood.

All he did was stare at her without saying a word.

 “Nicholas, I see you got my message” 

he said with a wide grin which later turned into a frown.

“I have her and you will never see her again you bloodsucker”

“Nicholas” the name sounded familiar; the only family she ever known asides her parents was her father’s brother Nicholas jones. Could it be him on the phone with her captor? Her heart raced with fear and confusion as she realized the connection between the kidnapper and her past.

Desperate to survive, she tried to reason with the man, pleading for her life. But he remained silent, his eyes filled with a chilling emptiness that sent shivers down her spine. As time passed, she realized that his silence was deliberate, a psychological torment meant to break her spirit.

Locked in a dark room with only her thoughts for company, she fought against the pain, weakness and feeling of vulnerability. Memories of her loving parents fueled her determination to survive and escape from this nightmare. She refused to let their legacy be tarnished by tragedy once again.

 Each passing moment intensified her worries - worries about what horrors awaited her at the hands of a man who had already taken so much from her, whose name she didn’t even know

“Screw that! Where the heck was, she?? 

For all Anna knew, she could be a zillion miles away from home.

Oh, you don’t want to be near him, you’re mine and this is your home now.”

 He pointed his hands towards the massive wardrobe on the side; “

I made sure they were all your size; dinner is in thirty minutes snuggles”

 he smiled and walked out the door once again.

Anna couldn’t move an inch as she sat and cried in shock as to how fast things had turned out for her, where was she to go from here? From the look of things, she didn’t stand a chance against this mystery man.

If she wanted to get her revenge and uncover whatever this was, then she needed to be smart and strong and that was exactly what she was going to do.
