 A Staunch Christian who has become a traditionalist was once interviewed why he changed his faith and he had this to say.

“All my life, I have searched for God and His Son Jesus Christ. I have studied church doctrines, read the Bible, listening to the teachings of great men of God, devoted and dedicated to church services/programs. I have called upon them day and night and waited during vigils & fasting for answers to my endless list of requests.  During these times, never was  I ever satisfied with my life nor the answers to my prayers. In fact often, I don't even notice if my prayers have been answered unless once in a while, I come across a few favorable happenings and attribute them to His Grace and Mercy.” 

I believe most of us, who are followers of various faiths and sects, can identify with the story of this man.  Why is this so? Why were we told to God is so near but very far in intervening in our daily struggles and rescuing us from our pains and sufferings. 

If you asked me, I will say it all boils down to how this Great Intelligence:- all knowing and Ever Present Essence, is introduced to us , personified and thought

Is God true and is He the Almighty and the answer to all the human problems and challenges in this world?

First let me say , we humans are our own problems. And pains and sufferings are just there as corrective measures to remind humanity to get back to our source and become one with it. But greed , pride and self seeking will not allow us to take that journey back as prodigal son. In fact pain and suffering will come to anyone who is out of alignment with the Great Intelligence. . Pain and suffering are just controlled pedals to slow us down whenever we are speeding too much on that road of self-destruction. 

Secondly, Worshiping God is not a contest between “Good” & “Evil” but they are there to complement each other. We must know that God created all things perfect & beautiful  in His image, male and female, He created them. What, we therefore referred to as evil (which is the other side of the equation)  is there to bring out the good in us.:- “Light is born out of darkness and Darkness is born out of Light” none can live without the other. In fact , let the truth be told, it is rather the contest between the ideas of “You against Me, Them against Us; and Good against Evil”  over everything in this world that has brought the world today on its knees. …..
