SPORTS MINISTER MEETS WITH JOURNALISTS

During an interaction with journalists, Minister of Sport, John Owan-Enoh, expressed his appreciation for the media's vital role in measuring the success of any sports ministry.

 He conveyed his excitement and enthusiasm for the ongoing 2023 National Youth Games, marking his first engagement with the event. 

He extended gratitude to  President Bola Tinubu for entrusting him with this opportunity, emphasizing his determination to track the competition's impact on history, particularly in terms of records broken and its contribution to fostering peace and unity in the country. 

Minister Owan-Enoh highlighted the importance of the games as a platform for talent discovery and highlighted his commitment to harnessing the event's potential for economic growth, job creation, and poverty alleviation.

 Additionally, he stressed the significance of providing youth athletes with early exposure to various sports infrastructure to nurture their talents effectively.
