In a time where phones and success hold a lot of importance, is it really important to find a good balance.

If you look at the non physical facts of psychology and physical facts of science, you will know It's crucial to take breaks from screens, so we can live healthier mentally, physically and emotionally to enjoy the world around us fully.

Nature's beauty, the strong connections with our loved ones, the special moments during dinners, times by the beach, gazing at the stars, playing music or games together, singing, crafts, cooking or walks in nature, and chats before bed – these are all important parts of being human and building strong bonds and relationships. Strangely, these moments are now at risk because of the very devices meant to make our lives better.

Phones are affecting how we talk to each other and how we communicate emotionally. The phone is influencing our culture and changing it rapidly, and we're becoming more distant from ourselves and the real world.

We need to face a serious fact – our families are changing because of too much phone use. Our kids and young people are always looking at screens, and they're losing the ability to have real conversations. Problems like arguments and fights in relationships, money issues, broken trust, and even serious things like addiction and unfaithfulness often happen because of our phones.

Our reliance on smart devices has become essential for simplifying daily tasks. However, these devices are detrimental to our days physically and emotionally.

There are a high majority with late-night usage which has be proven to lead to significant consequences for communication, emotional well-being in the mornings, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

When it comes to sleep, the negative consequences of using smart devices are now becoming evident. The blue light emitted from screens disrupts our brain's relaxation process, apps or sites such as dating, porn, gambling and games are causing anxiety, stress, depression, guilt, shame, wakefulness and potential serious long-term emotional and sleep disorders.

But beyond this, the consequences extend throughout our day to our daily communication patterns and reactional emotions. Engaging in repetitive daily and late-night chats, surfing social media, playing games or addiction apps like TikTok affects our emotional state in the mornings, leaving us stressed and irritable rather than well-rested.

Excessive device usage hinders genuine interactions and the development of meaningful relationships.

The addiction provoked by mobile app devices make it challenging to achieve the desired ability to connect with others on a deeper level.

To mitigate these negative effects, it's crucial to change and establish healthier habits. Limiting daily and late-night device use, making new phone use agreements in familys, adopting new ways to spend time, new relaxation practices or connecting with loved ones before sleep, and prioritizing face-to-face interactions are steps that can significantly improve our overall well-being, communication skills, emotional stability in the mornings, throughout our day in our relationships.

In this world of technology, we need to look inside ourselves. We have to go against the norms, be the unique do what it takes for a better future, find a balance between using our phones and connecting with others.
