THE TECH JUNCTION FOOT BRIDGE BECOMING A MERE OPTION THAN A COMPULSION

Over the years,commuters found it difficult and dangerous crossing the Accra - KUMASI highway specifically  around the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology junction. 

The Government in curbing this situation,in 2015,constructed a footbridge to ease the challenge associated with crossing the dual carriage.

It costed the government 7 million Euros to construct this 26.5 metre long foot bridge. 

This footbridge is fitted with a staircase and a ramp making it suitable for both the abled and physically challenged.

But in recent times,the footbridge hasn't been serving it's purpose because people still try to cross the road admist that heavy traffic.

According to a tro tro  mate, although it's constructed  to ease the challenge associated with crossing the road,old and physically challenged  people still complain it's difficult to climb up.
