A long yawn and a blurry image of her husband sitting up in bed, gradually brings her back to a conscious state after a rather long night of uninterrupted sleep. Activities from the previous day left her exhausted and she eagerly waited for nightfall. On waking up she could barely remember the last conversation she had with Oma her husband before drifting off to sleep. " Wake up, time has gone far" he said with a gentle tap. Staring at him with half closed eyes she thought to herself "another day of being a housewife begins". He had been up for a while but spent the time scrolling through news headlines on his phone as was his custom every morning. After exchanging pleasantries they were to engage in their routine morning devotion as a family. Glancing at her phone and noting how far gone time was, she opted to heat up some water for bath before the devotion. "He should have put the pot on the cooker since he woke up earlier" she murmured to herself on getting to the kitchen. On cold mornings they usually heated up a large pot of water for a warm bath. She felt that way since he seemed bothered about the time but did nothing to start his preparation to leave home early.
