What is the eligibility to apply for ILR Visa UK?

A skilled worker visa uk is a visa that is issued to people with skills that are in demand. It takes into consideration both the applicant's qualifications and personal qualities. An applicant is required to show that they have a definite job offer and they must also score at least 75 points under the Tier 2 points-based system or meet the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme requirements. The visa lasts for three years, after which an individual can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain, commonly known as “settlement” in the UK.

The eligibility to apply for an ILR visa in the UK is based on different factors, like the reason for migration and status of the country in which you live.  In order to apply for an ILR Visa, the applicant needs to meet the following requirements.

Must have had a continuous residence in the UK for at least five years. 

Must either have had permission to stay in the UK as a spouse/partner or as a dependent relative or it must be possible at any time to apply for permission on this basis.

Maintain adequate and comprehensive medical insurance cover in the UK that is acceptable to us and will continue to be accepted by us until you are granted Indefinite Leave To Remain.

A skilled worker visa UK can be issued either to a person who is outside the United Kingdom and wants to come in and work for a limited period of time or to someone who is already in the country but wants to extend their stay, on the other hand, 

 is a long-term visa that allows people to remain indefinitely in the UK. 

The Skilled Worker Visa prevents an individual from establishing themselves as a resident in the United Kingdom and therefore entitles them to only be temporary residents with their family members. The ILR Visa, on the other hand, affords greater rights than those offered by Skilled Worker Visa because it entitles individuals or their family members to establish residency in the UK.
