THE IMPORTANCE OF BOREDOM..

Boredom is the state of not being able to do anything or not having anything to do.

Yeah, that definition is a little messed up but what do you expect, it's the truth.. I can't tell a lie and then wait for things to be less boring. It's not gonna make any difference. 

But let's not really make Boredom sad and lonely, there are still some good parts of this abandoned word. Yes, Boredom can be annoying and even worse when you just let it in...but that's not all there is to it. Boredom can also add an importance to your life... How? It's simple...

Being bored can make you feel happy. Happy is not just smiling and having fun with maybe family or with 10 groups of best friends... it can also mean you're not letting Boredom getting the best of you. If you feel bored and it gets annoying, you can also create a room of the opposite, that is, creating a room where you say "What the heck, it's not like being bored is gonna kill me, might as well sleep or wait for something different to happen".

See? Now that's something you should always think about in your empty boring moments..you can try it, you may just be friends and be happy with Boredom... 

Secondly, being bored can bring a good sense of self-acceptance once in your life. You may have nothing to do and maybe even want to go to heaven straight up without any trumpet sounding but it's not done that way. When there's really nothing for you to do while you're bored on the bed or in the bathroom, it can bring you into this pure acceptance that "That's how life is, there can be boring days but there are also fun and interesting days too. I should just wait it out and accept this kind of state by myself"

You'll just see that this so called Boredom reduces like that (may go away at some later point) Who knows? Maybe you will never be bored ever again... I already said who knows, that means it may happen for some people. Just take it like that...

Thirdly, the most important importance of Boredom is that it gives you a chance to involve yourself in doing things that will make you feel less bored or completely unbored. Some may disagree with this because "If you're bored, there's nothing to do so how does it give me a chance to do things.. I don't get it" 

Well, I also agree with this but let me ask you a little something, haven't you read the bible or a saying or even the Quaran, (I don't know how to spell that), which says 'an idle man is the devil's workshop??' If you think you can't do anything 'just because you're painfully bored', it makes you even more bored than ever before and may make you do other things that can only bring you down and make you useless. So it's good if you to at least force yourself to look for things to do by yourself. When I say by YOURSELF, I'm saying if anybody else that is not you, does those things for you, it can end up with he or she making you feel like there's no use of doing anything when you're already filled with Boredom...those kind of people, Geez!

So, there you have it, THE IMPORTANCE OF BOREDOM... I actually hate being bored to the deepest core and bone but I hate it more when I can't have anything to do all in the name of Boredom. 

I hope I don't get diagnosed for boredom defect, if there's anything like that...
