Story

There lived a husband and wife in a house. Both lived alone in the house. Both were very much in love and both were living their lives with great love. One evening both were sitting in the living room of their house laughing and joking. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. The wife went and opened the door. A beggar was standing in front.

Beggar : I haven't eaten anything for a day. Help me for the sake of Allah.

Seeing the beggar, the wife screamed loudly. Hearing the wife's screams, the husband was shocked and ran outside. After going outside, the husband saw the beggar.

Husband : (To the beggar) What did you say to her?

Beggar : I just told her that I haven't eaten anything for a day. For sake Allah, help me.

Husband : (To the wife) Why did you scream when you saw him?

Wife : Because I knew this person very well and now I recognize him.

Husband : Well, who is this person?

Wife : I have second marraige with you and this person was my first husband.

Husband : (To the beggar) Is this true?

Beggar : Yes, that's true. She was my wife before you. We were very much in love and we were both living a very loving life. It's not that old. It's just about a year old.

Husband : If you two were so in love, then why did you divorce him?

The beggar remains silent and lowers his gaze.

Wife : He didn't divorce me, but I left him.

Husband : (To your wife) If you loved him so much, then what did he do that made you leave him?

Wife : It was about a year ago. One evening, we were both sitting in the living room of our house, joking around. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I went and opened the door. A beggar was standing in front. He told me that he had not eaten anything for a day. I was about to give him some money and grains, but this arrogant person snatched the money and grains from me and put them back and pushed the beggar out of the house. I tried very hard to explain to him that what he was doing was wrong, but he did not listen to me and pushed the poor man out of the house. From that day on, our family's financial situation continued to deteriorate. His factory caught fire and his house was also sold. Then a time came when he had neither bread to feed me nor a roof to protect me from the rain and sun. How could I live with him under these circumstances? That's why I left him and later I married you.

Husband : (To the beggar) Is this story she is telling true?

Beggar : Yes , it is true.

Husband : (To the wife) Give him as much money and food as you can, and yes, add one more thing to this story, and that is that I am the beggar whom he pushed out of the house a year ago. At that time I did not even have a meal and today I am the owner of a factory, but there is not a trace of pride or arrogance in me because I have understood very well that time is not always the same.

Time does not always remain the same and the map of the entire universe changes with time, so do not lose patience and gratitude in bad times and wait for your good times with patience and gratitude. Do not lose humility in good times and stay away from pride and arrogance because time does not inform you before changing.
