Edge wide world

It's humorous how everyone is on the race to a better life not wondering how it's affecting our precious mother nature. It's really into pieces as we continue to hurt it for our own good and if we are not careful it is coming for it's debts. While working hard consider mother nature.

The Only Country In The World With No River

Saudi Arabia is one of the countries in the world that does not have a river. Most of the Arabian desert is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and extends to neighbouring countries such as; Jordan, Iraq and Qatar. It is also the only country bordering the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. You may be wondering how the soil gets its water. Saudi Arabia may not have rivers, but it does have wadis. Wadi is a dry riverbed that only contains water when it rains. Saudi Arabia relies on two sources of water, namely groundwater and water obtained from desalination plants that remove salt from seaway, Groundwater makes up 98 percent of the water sources as there are no rivers or lakes in the kingdom and there is almost no rain. Nearly 50% of drinking water comes from desalination, 10% from surface water and 40% from non-renewable groundwater extraction

Massive glaciers, staggering mountains, plains dotted with wild animals: We sure live in a big, beautiful world. In fact, when looking at the most beautiful places in the world, it can feel impossible to decide where to visit next.

US knocked out of World Cup, loses to the Netherlands 3-1 By RONALD BLUM

AL RAYYAN, Qatar (AP) — Christian Pulisic covered his face as he walked off. Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Kellyn Acosta gathered for a group hug. Tim Weah, DeAndre Yedlin and Sean Johnson sat on the field in a small circle with their cleats off. “It hurts after a tough loss like that when we feel like we could have had more,” Pulisic said, managing a voice only just above a whisper. “We don’t want to feel like this again.” The United States’ return to the World Cup ended with a 3-1 loss to the Netherlands on Saturday in the round of 16. While the Oranje extended their unbeaten streak to 19 games and advanced to a quarterfinal with Argentina, the Americans contemplated how far they came and how short they fell. Defensive lapses gave the Dutch a treat as Memphis Depay scored in the 10th minute and Daley Blind in first-half stoppage time. U.S. hope revived when Pulisic’s cross hit the trailing foot of second-half substitute Haji Wright and popped over goalkeeper Andries Noppert an
