Distance between two people is inconsequential when their souls are united.

Here is how you can beat geographical distance: • Communicate as much (or as little) as you need to feel connected • “Be there” even when you can’t actually be there • Remind your partner frequently what you love about your relationship • Forge a secure attachment by supporting each other's interests • Find a way to hang out together while apart • Learn how to address important issues both remotely and in person • Focus on the positive aspects of long distance • Respect the reason why you’re apart • When the time is right, create a long term plan for merging your worlds.

I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT REAL ROMANCE IS

Anyone can buy flowers, candy, and jewelry, there's no love in that. The truly romantic things in life are those little things you do everyday to show you care and that you're thinking of them. Its going out of your way to make them happy. The way you hold her hand when you know she's scared, or you save the last piece of cake for him. The random text in the middle of the day just to say "I Love You" or "I Miss You". The way he stops to kiss you when he passes by. Its dedicating her favorite song to her and letting her eat your fries. Telling her she's beautiful even when she's in her sweats; with her hair in a ponytail and no makeup. Its putting your favorite show on pause so she can tell you about her day, and laughing at his jokes even the really lame ones 😝. Its slow dancing in the kitchen and kissing in the rain. Romance isn't about buying, its about giving. True romance is in the gestures.

The Physical Worlds

A poem which brings to light the different kinds of physical worlds we have and live in. Taken from Different Worlds from The Songs of Lexicon.

Smart people say: don't compare yourself with others.

But no matter what heights of awareness we have reached, willingly or unwillingly, consciously or subconsciously, we still compare ourselves to others. Since behind it is an evolutionary mechanism pop up that ensures our survival. And what matters here is not "why," but "what" we have as a result of such a comparison. As a result, we get different feelings, the most "popular" of which is envy.
