OVERVIEW
As an arm of the govemment saddled with the responsibility of disseminating information on government policies, programmes, and activities, as well as the image-maker and the mouthpiece of government, the Ministry of Information and State Orientation also have public enlightenment and sensitisation as part of it's core mandate. Pursuant to the above mandate, the Ministry under watch shall adopt Development Communication as a strategy for the realization of its inherit objectives.
MISSION: To facilitate development and attitudinal change by engaging stakeholders and policy makers, establishing a conducive environment, accessing risks and opportunities and promoting information exchange between the government and the citizens anchoring on Development Communication
VISION: To promote good governance and sustainable development by encouraging the implementation of "The People's
