Yesterday marked the last match of the Second group stage well known as the Super 8 Stage - the quarter-final stage. In Group 1, India got the first spot in the semi-finals after defeating Australia by 24 runs while Afghanistan took the last spot earlier by winning against Bangladesh by 8 runs concluding the Super 8 Stage matches. Corruption in Bangladesh has been a continuing problem. According to all major ranking institutions, Bangladesh routinely finds itself among the most corrupt countries in the world. Transparency International's 2020 Corruption Perception Index ranks the country 146th place out of 180 countries.The public sectors conducted by the Government are the most corrupted sectors of the country.
