National Youth Games 2023: A total of 5,742 athletes & officials Registered for Asaba 2023

In the World Athletics Championship (WCH) qualifiers, Nigerian athletes Dubem Nwachukwu and Imaobong Nse Uko both secured 6th place finishes in their respective events, the Men's and Women's 400m.
