According to US sources speaking to CNN on Sunday, the Biden administration has not yet discovered a smoking gun that directly connects Iran to the planning and carrying out of this weekend's attack on Israel.
However, officials asserted that Iran has a history of supporting Hamas.
Iran is included in the scenario, of course, a US official told CNN. "They have supported Hamas and Hezbollah for years."
Senior US officials insisted that it was a terrorist strike in the eúarly aftermath of the attack.
