Is That a Giant Still Wearing a Pant?

IS THAT A GIANT STILL WEARING A PANT? Indeed there was a country Now a cynical kind of Eden And in this Eden things fall apart Ties ripping apart Blamed on devil's tit for tat. Wait o, is that a giant still wearing a pant?! A grand neither where it was nor where it should be? With rivers where fishes drown or even die of thirst? Where the abnormal is normal and the normal, abnormal? Where the most expensive is cheap and the cheapest, costly? The beautiful is ugly and the ugly is beautiful? Is th

The Tiny Stranger At George

One day at a pet shop, I met a man selling socks, For money he wanted to swap, But I really wanted some white fox. "Got any white fox?" asked I. "For that's how I'll spend my money." "No white fox here!" said the guy. He seemed to find it quite funny. "We've got some lovely crisps, I'll give you a very fine price." "I'd rather have some wisps." The man blinked rapidly thrice. The man seemed exceptionally energetic, And his manner was strangely amused. He wasn't what I would call electromagnetic,

IN THE EYES OF THE ONE I LOVE

In the eyes of the one I love, I see rainfall in the desert, I see peace in the storms, Everything becomes beautiful. In the eyes of the one I love, Sorrow leaves and joy stays, Smiles stream deep from my heart, The sun shines on everything I do. In the eyes of the one I love, I fly high like an eagle, Mountains become surmountable, My dreams become achievable. In the eyes of the one I love, I find strength when I am weak, Tears are but streams of joy flowing endlessly, My heart beats melodiousl

Summer breeze

The winter comes, In the disguise of a rainy day. I felt so cold, I can't make you stay. You gave me, a short-time warmth. a love I thought, would stay in my arms.

Fear.

I fear being forgotten, my name and face lost in time. Memories of me faded from existence. Binding me to nothingness. So much ambition with zero direction. As time Flys past isolation and a destructive self image emerges fear becomes all consuming my lips speak into existence the pain and suffering as if i were the orical of destruction. My every step seems Beleagure my very existence. Words spoke from frustration have resulted in the futility of salvation. I stand now a statue of irony an exam

At the end

I wrote this to try and show how i felt when i realized that the facade that i put out was nothing more then a lie. The worst kind of lie because it robbed me of my identity leaving me a stranger within my self. Surrounded my the faces of people that claim to love me but the persistent question that never seemed to be answered is how can they when even i dont know me so how could they.

Poetry

Poetry (derived from the Greek poiesis, "making"), also called verse,[note 1] is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and often rhythmic[1][2][3] qualities of language − such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre − to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, a prosaic ostensible meaning. A poem is a literary composition, written by a poet, using this principle. The Parnassus (1511) by Raphael: famous poets recite alongside the nine Muses atop Mount Parnassus. Poetry has a long
