This was similar to cockfighting, but it drew in larger crowds, but it was also more expensive to stage. These bulls were bred and trained to fight, and after the fights, they were wither sold to butchers or put back into circulation to fight again. These fights were where a bull was put up against a pack of Mastiff dogs, where most of the times these matches were usually fixed
