ホンマにアホやなぁ！（３０）英語に関しては、高校の時に英検の準１級に合格した。だから、英検１級の先生が必要になった。私は彼女の書いてくる英文の日記を読みながら添削をし始めた。これが、後にネットによる通信生の募集につながった。まことに、Ａ子ちゃんが私に与えた影響は大きい。１級レベルのアドバイスをすると、たいていの生徒の方は「何を言っているのか分からない」という反応だったけれど、Ａ子ちゃんは私の意図することを即座に理解するため、授業も楽しかった。語彙や文法が正しければ良い英作文が書けるわけではない。当たり前だが、マナーやエチケット、採点官に対する思いやりが欠ける英作文は高く評価されない。学力だけではなく、そういう人間的な深みがないと見込みがない。浅い理解では京大などの難関大は合格できるものではない。 As for English, I passed Eiken level 1 in high school.
