How to figure out if you are NOT trusted?
Pretty simple: they try to keep their distance from you, even though there is an opportunity to be closer. I'm sure you've noticed this more than once for yourself.
The same works in reverse: if the person would be more comfortable to be a little further away, but he still sits next to you means he does not regard you as a threat.
By the way, the mood of the interlocutor on your account can change right in the middle of the dialogue, so keep a close eye on the distance between you.
