My favorite character in the story written by Paulo Coelho entitled "The Alchemist" is the boy named Santiago. The Story was about giving a try on the things you want to achieve in life and Santiago's character never give up. It gives me courage to listen attentively to what my heart wants just like what the boy did and handle the fear of failing. We see ourselves lowly that creates a feeling that we don’t
deserve our ambitions/dreams. After all we are all humans who needs happiness and achieve what we want to because we are just travelers. We need to fail in order to learn a lesson from it. Failing is what we don’t want to experience, but what if we change our beliefs that to fail is not a hindrance to achieve our dream? We should think that we fail because we are not perfect, we fail because we
are still learning. We should not isolate ourselves from the things that keep us hidden for a long time and hinders us to dream and achieve it. We should live our lives free from any discouragements, we should learn to love, accept and develop
ourselves in order for us to be a better person in this world. After all, we’re just like Santiago, a traveler who wants to find the treasure and a man who never give up to pursue his Personal Legend. As we travel, we will experience failing and sometimes doubt ourselves and eventually leads us in a decision to stop pursuing the dream we have. We should always learn that being a traveler means we will face difficulties, but we should also keep our goal up to the end. We are
going to find our treasure, we will not let the doubts cover our spirit of believing that we can achieve our goal and be a living inspiration that can help others to never stop dreaming and fear nothing to
any failures we may face.
