Review: TL;DR
Math and Reading sections are very close to the material on the exam, if not harder. English section and prepared me well enough. Science section should be supplemented with other materials (I used pocket prep app), but provides the fundamentals for the exam (you probably wont get over a 70 if you dont know any material beforehand and ONLY used this book). When reviewing science there were some typos and times where I got confused with the wording of things hence why I took off a star.

The math section was very very good, the questions were very similar to the ones on the test. Science section was alright. While did reintroduce topics I did not previously understand in basic ways, there were many typos and name switch ups that got me confused. Overall science section did prepare me well for the exam, however, the wording and style of the questions could use more work. This is the only section which, on the practice tests, i did better on than the actual test. Oh! and there were also quite a few typos online when reviewing practice tests, especially the science section. When I wasnt sure about some topics in science, I used the pocket prep app to test myself- the questions and how theyre worded for science are more true to the exam itself. If I did not understand a fundamental idea, I would search keywords in the app to find questions to work on and read a detailed break down. Moving foward, the reading and english sections' questions from the book was harder than the test's, which is a good thing bc it prepares you well (in my opinion). Though, the english section felt just a little bit lacking (in my opinion).

Review: My assessment had me at an 84 and after studying with this book I scored a 90.7 on my TEAS.
This book was great for reading, math, and anatomy and physiology. Regular life science was very lacking, although every test is different so I'm sure it's hard to know exactly what to study. But basically none of what is in this book was on the test for life science or chemistry.

I needed a bit of extra help via YouTube for the math, but I typically struggle in math. But I felt the book was more difficult than the test for math problems, which was a relief. After using this book my math score went from 73 to 93.

There were a lot of spelling/ grammar mistakes throughout the book, as well as frequent errors on practice tests. I didn't use the grammar section at all, but the book's grammar was sad, so I don't think I missed out.

Overall I do recommend this book if you're already pretty solid in grammar and science. It will certainly help your score if you follow the study plan. I followed a different schedule than theirs but based it off the book. I did about 2 hours a day 5 days a week for 3 weeks, and did 3 full practice tests, and one just science and math. You get your results immediately which is great. But check your answers because they make mistakes.

Review: UPDATE 12/19/2020: I took my TEAS and scored in 91.3 overall (99th percentile) using this book and the accompanying online course videos, which go into a bit more detail. I know many books don't have a great science section; my science score 87.2 using only this book (the version of the test I took had mainly A&P), so if that's high enough for the program you're applying to then this book alone should be fine! The math and reading were spot on, and the English was actually more in depth than the English on my exam (full disclosure: I didn't use this book for Reading and English, instead I used Carolyn McAllister on YouTube who is a great source; however, I went back to look at these sections of the book after the test and they contained everything needed).

12/12/2020: I have been using this book exclusicely to prepare for the TEAS. The organization of the book couldn't be better, and I haven't found any errors. The information is in depth without being overwhelming, and even difficult concepts are broken down and explained simply for optimal understanding. Each chapter has questions throughout and a practice quiz at the end which is really nice! An added perk is that the authors are very willing to answer additional questions in their Facebook group or over email.

Review: I love this book so far, I haven't began reading the first chapter yet though because it is instructed to take a diagnostic test before beginning your studying process. This test is located on the online version of this book. I was going to wait until after I received my TEAs test results to review this book, though I was very prompted to already because of the EXTREME difficulty I've had using their online program. All I have done so far is attempt to take the first practice (diagnostic) test, which is split into 4 sections (like the real test). I completed the first portion (reading) and reviewed all of the questions I missed and took notes on them. This was very helpful, they gave amazing descriptions on why the correct answer is right. Though, I tried moving onto the second portion of the test (math) and it completely erased all of my progress on the reading portion, making me start over. This was very infuriating because it is a 60 minute portion. So, I redid it and then it finally saved and allowed me to move onto Mathematics. I completed that portion and took the same steps I did with the reading portion, then tried moving onto the third section (science) and it erased all of my progress for the math section. Again. I am very disappointed and frustrated with these issues and I am highly considering returning this book and not ever using it again because I'm having this much trouble right off the bat. Like I said, the academic portion is phenomenal but the technical trouble may be a dealbreaker. I really really hope they fix this, it would be perfect if they did.

Edit: I received immediate help on the issue after posting this review and my test scores were restored, the technical team is on top of their game.
