Als nächster eingeliefert werden soll Einzelkämpfer Snake Plissken - aber daraus wird nichts. Utopia, die Tochter des despotischen US-Präsidenten, hat den Prototypen eines Geräts gestohlen, mit dessen Hilfe ein EMP-Signal über die Erde geschickt werden kann, das sämtliche elektrischen Geräte zerstört. Das Gerät hat die abtrünnige Tochter ihrem Geliebten Cuervo Jones übergeben, einer Art moderner Che Guevarra. Die Lage ist klar: Plissken muss da rein, das Teil rausholen, den Möchtegern-Che erledigen und die böse Tochter gleich mit. Damit er sich beeilt, wurde ihm ein Virus eingepflanzt, das ihn innerhalb von zehn Stunden tötet...
