"Eyes—an unyielding gaze,
Piercing, soul-wrenching,
laying siege to soul.

Words—sharpened spears,
maiming, stabbing, and stinging,
leaving wounds no hand can heal.

The tongue—
wreathed in malice,
ever restless,
wagging without mercy;
biting at flesh unseen,
devouring, pinching, and ending.

Thus the acrimony of man:
where hatred speaks louder than reason,
and the cruelest scars are those no eye can behold.
