paid a courtesy visit to the Accountant-General of Cross River State, Dr. (Mrs.) Glory Tony Effiong, at her office in Calabar.

The visit formed part of the organisation's commitment to fostering collaboration with public institutions and recognizing outstanding public servants whose dedication continues to contribute to the development of Cross River State.

During the meeting, HRM Theresa Ukung highlighted the organisation's ongoing advocacy initiatives, including the Pad the Girl Child Campaign, which promotes menstrual hygiene awareness and supports young girls with sanitary products, as well as the PVC Sensitisation Drive, aimed at encouraging greater civic participation and responsible citizenship among Nigerians. She also outlined other community-focused projects designed to empower women, young people, and underserved communities.

Dr. Glory Tony Effiong warmly received the delegation and commended the Queen for using her platform to champion meaningful social causes. She encouraged HRM Theresa Ukung to remain committed to initiatives that positively impact society and pledged her support for programmes that promote youth development, women's empowerment, and community advancement.

In recognition of her exemplary service, integrity, and contributions to public financial management and governance in Cross River State, HRM Theresa Ukung presented an Award of Excellence to Dr. Glory Tony Effiong on behalf of the Miss Politics Nigeria Organisation.

The visit underscored the importance of collaboration between public institutions and advocacy organisations in advancing sustainable development, promoting good governance, and inspiring a new generation of leaders committed to nation-building.
