It was another remarkable day of service and collaboration in Cross River State as the Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (CRSIRS), Prince Edwin Okon, demonstrated strong commitment to the People First agenda of the administration of Bassey Otu.

In a show of support for security and grassroots development, Prince Edwin Okon stepped in to encourage personnel and stakeholders working tirelessly to ensure peace and safety across communities. His wisdom, leadership, and goodwill were highly appreciated by all present, further reflecting the importance of unity and purposeful governance in the state.

As part of efforts to strengthen security operations at the grassroots level, Prince Edwin Okon, on behalf of Governor Bassey Otu and the Homeland Security structure, presented a Patrol Bike to a Homeland Security personnel in Odukpani Local Government Area. The gesture is expected to improve mobility, response time, and operational effectiveness in safeguarding lives and property within the area.

Speaking during the event, The DG Homeland Security South Chief Micheal Nsan expressed appreciation to Prince Edwin Okon for his kind gesture and unwavering support to the body, noting that the donation would greatly enhance their operations and commitment to service.

The event also highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration in effectively actualizing the People First mandate of the present administration. Stakeholders emphasized that partnerships between government agencies remain vital in delivering impactful governance and improving the welfare of Cross Riverians.

The administration of Governor Bassey Otu continues to receive commendation for creating opportunities and platforms for public servants and institutions to contribute meaningfully towards the development, peace, and progress of Cross River State.
