The Cross River State Homeland Safety and Security Agency has stepped up efforts to enhance discipline, operational efficiency, and leadership capacity following a strategic meeting with its Disciplinary Committee and team leaders.

The meeting, held on April 20, 2026, at the agency’s state office, 3 Bishop Moynagh Avenue, State Housing Estate, Calabar, was chaired by the Director General (South), Chief Michael Nsan, who also doubles as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee.

The session brought together key personnel to review operational standards and improve performance across all units of the agency.

The engagement focused on reinforcing organizational values and equipping team leaders with practical strategies for effective service delivery. Participants were guided on professionalism, strict adherence to operational protocols, and the importance of aligning their responsibilities with the agency’s vision and mission.

In his address, Chief Nsan emphasized that discipline remains the backbone of a functional and responsive security structure. He urged team leaders to uphold accountability, integrity, and commitment in their duties, noting that their conduct directly impacts public trust and the agency’s overall credibility.

Committee members also shared insights on maintaining order, enforcing standards, and promoting teamwork across operational units.

A major highlight of the meeting was the emphasis on unity and collective responsibility. Team leaders were encouraged to lead by example, foster collaboration, and uphold the agency’s core values.
