Jin-ho Park (47, Gangneung City Hall), two-time gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, placed 6th in the final event of the competition.

Park Jin-ho shot 164.6 points and ranked 6th in the final of the R6 mixed 50m rifle prone (sport class SH1) shooting event at the Paris Paralympic Games held at the Chateauroux Shooting Center in France on the 5th (Korean time).

Natascha Hiltrop (Germany, 250.2 points) won the gold medal with a new Paralympic record, while Anna Benson (Sweden, 248.8 points) took the silver medal and Jean-Louis Michaux (France, 227.8 points) took the bronze medal.

The prone event can be shot from a sitting or prone position using a stand that complies with the World Para Shooting Federation (WSPS) regulations, and unlike the standing event, it is a mixed event with no gender distinction.

The finals will feature eight competitors, each shooting 10 shots, then two shots each, with the athlete with the lowest total score being eliminated.

Park Jin-ho shot 624.8 points in the preliminary round to select the top 8 out of 36, placing him in 7th place behind Marek Dobrowolski (Poland, 625.2 points).

The finals also started from behind. Jin-ho Park started in 7th place with 102.1 points in his first 10 shots.

Jin-ho Park, who was in danger of being eliminated, shot 10.7 points on his 12th shot and moved up to 6th place.
