Review: Anyone who's sailed off shore has had his share of close calls.... this book is a must read for anyone who intends to sail thru the Bahama's and into the Exuma's.... GPS longitude and latitudes, maps, course headings, safe anchorages, rocks, sandbars, areas to avoid, restaurants, sites to see, sailing strategies, where to get water, great places to snorkel... all this valuable and life saving knowledge is in this book.

Review: even if you don't get there, get this book! very informative, great photos and charts. lots of useful info. i would not go there without this book and i have had quite a few bahamas' guide books. you should also get pavlidis' latest guides to the northern and southern bahamas as well. worth every penny!

Review: There is a lot of good info on this book, however, there is a lot of outdated info as well. This leaves the reader having to decide what is valid or not. I still recommend it, but not as an authority on the area. Make sure you get the Explorer Charts to use as the authority on the area.

Review: I have used this remarkable resource over 30 years of cruising the Bahamas, and have never had a problem following its directions. Updated annually, it not only offers safe passages but gives information when you arrive as to marinas, anchorages, shopping and dining. This is an indispensable asset to anyone cruising the Bahamas or Turks and Caicos.
