This book will set me on a life changing path! I have struggled with anxiety for over 10 years and it started to get unbearable. I went to a therapist and she recommended this book. At first I was very skeptical. First off all I'm in pretty good shape so I kinda laughed at being put on a diet to help my anxiety, it didn't make sense. But I figured I'd give it a try and I am sooooo glad I did! Once I was off gluten and all over the other inflammatory foods, my energy and mood just sky rocketed!! I told my husband with tears in my eyes, "I feel like I'm finally living now! " (PS he's fully on it too now and has lost 15 lbs in just weeks) Anxiety took so much of life and finally I feel like this diet leads you to really evaluate what you put in your body and how it affects it on a hormonal level. She connects everything back to how your body reacts to the food we all commonly eat and how we don't understand how it is affecting us.
Some of the recipes are a little bit too adventurous for me but I've found some great ones on her blog and knowing the rules of how you can eat, you can look on the internet for recipes and look at the ingredients to see if they will fit within the diet.
Overall I feel like this is a great option to try for those looking to alleviate their anxiety naturally!
