We Felicitates with His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and the good people of Cross River State on this year's democracy day celebration. Democracy day is indeed worthy of celebrating, it's also a day of reflection on the resilience and doggedness of our hero past which some paid the ultimate price to get us this freedom we enjoy today from the military guys. Especially as in the case of June 12th where democracy was truncated in an election that was adjudged to be the most transparent free and fair election ever, by the military guys thereby setting the nation backward.

Democracy has brought us participation, accountability and development. That is why in Cross River State, Cross Riverians are enjoying the dividence of democracy as it's been delivered to them by His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu through his 'People's First' mantra in just one year in office.

Democracy offers opportunity for us to scrutinise government policies and know if a government is doing well or not. In Cross River State the government of Sen. Prince Bassey Otu is doing well beyond expectations by our assessment.

We hereby appeal and urge all Cross Riverians of all strata irrespective of political leanings to support and pray for the administration of His Excellency Prince Otu to continue to deliver on his mandate and laudable vision of the 'People's First' mantra for the people of Cross River State.

We urge His Excellency to continue to deliver quality leadership and democratic dividence as he is already doing because CNPP and Cross Riverians are in full support and are praying for the success of this administration.
