As we entered our third day at Barra Elementary School, the number of students had increased, filling the room with even more eager minds hungry for knowledge. We were both elated and slightly apprehensive, knowing that the responsibility to provide snacks for the growing group was a challenge we gladly accepted. Watching the children’s faces light up as they reveled in the joy of learning only fueled our determination to make a positive impact on their lives. Our days at Barra were not just about teaching; they were about building connections, fostering growth, and spreading love to these amazing children who had found a special place in our hearts.
