Recreational Activity (1)

WHAT IS RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY? —Recreation is a leisure activity, and leisure is time spent on one's own volition. Human biology and psychology are fundamentally based on the "need to do something for recreation". Recreational activities are deemed "fun" since they are frequently undertaken for amusement, pleasure, or entertainment.

Recreational Activity (2)

SWIMMING —Swimming is an activity that involves moving through the water using your arms and legs.

Recreational Activity (3)

PLAYING —Playing is imaginative, intrinsically motivated, nonserious, freely chosen, and actively engaging. While most people see play as the domain of children, adults also play, although often their play is more entwined with rules and regulations, which calls into question how playful their play really is.

Recreational Activity (4)

READING —Leisure reading, also known as recreational reading, pleasure reading, free voluntary reading, and independent reading, is independent, self-selected reading of a continuous text for a wide range of personal and social purposes. It can take place in and out of school, at any time.

Recreational Activity (5)

MEDITATION —Meditation is a practice that involves focusing or clearing your mind using a combination of mental and physical techniques. Depending on the type of meditation you choose, you can meditate to relax, reduce anxiety and stress, and more.

Recreational Activity (6)

ROCK CLIMBING —Rock climbing is the sport or activity of climbing rock faces, especially with the aid of ropes and special equipment.
