The recently concluded 19th edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games held in Abuja witnessed an impressive display of skill and sportsmanship, particularly in the realm of golf. Dr. Nsika Ntia, Captain of Shell, and his teammate Victor Longe emerged victorious in the golf category, marking a significant milestone for their team and the industry as a whole.

They announced plans for the President's Cup and the Niger Delta Youth Empowerment Golf Scheme Initiative, aimed at promoting accessibility and inclusivity in the sport.

Dr. Osagie Okunbor, Managing Director of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games, underscored the significance of the event in showcasing the industry's athletic spirit post-COVID-19. With the theme "Igniting Productivity through Wellness," the NOGIG 2024 highlighted the importance of physical and mental well-being in the workplace.
