Christian Poetry: Never Forsaken

God never changes

He is still the same
Today and forever.
Breaks protocols for his own,

Even when they don't deserve it.
He has changed kings,

Overthrown ruling reigns,

Turned Day to Night,

And Night to Day.
But one thing has never changed,

The faithful been forsaken,

Or suffering lack and hunger.
The righteous are always blessed,

The little with them is pressed,

Given to another in need.

Since I was born till now,

I've never seen the righteous,

Forsaken or bruised.

Begging for basic necessities of life,

Crying and weeping for a living.
God keeps and cares for his own,

He never leaves or forsakes Those called to be his.
