IHRC Commends Nigeria's Mission on Anthem, Endorsed for Global Use

The Transnational Intergovernmental Organization - International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has commended its Mission in Nigeria led by the Ambassador at Large and Head of Diplomatic Mission, H.E. Ambassador (Dr.) Duru Hezekiah on his innovative insight in introducing the IHRC Anthem to the organization.

The Secretary-General Prof Rafal Marcin Wasik in a statement made on Tuesday through the Organization's Editor-in-Chief Fidelis Onakpoma, conveyed his solidarity and endorsement, imploring members of the Organization on the importance of the anthem.

He noted that the anthem encapsulates the core values, ideals, and aspirations of the International Human Rights Commission, reflecting its objective, mission, and purpose. It represents the beliefs of our noble organization by reigniting the feelings of patriotism among her people, he said.

While urging IHRC members to practice and use the anthem, the Secretary-General emphasized that the lyrics of the IHRC Anthem invoke themes such as dignity, freedom, equality, justice, and peace, fostering a collective enthusiasm for ‘What we do today, we do for Generations'.
