'Massive' drone strikes by Ukraine on six Russian regions result in the destruction of aircraft

Ukrainian drones have conducted one of the largest strikes in Russia's deep interior, targeting at least six regions.

Attacks against targets in the Pskov, Bryansk, Kaluga, Orlov, Ryazan, and Moscow regions were verified by Russian officials, with the attack on the military base in Pskov that damaged aircraft being the most serious. It is located more than 600 kilometres (400 miles) from Ukraine and is the base for a lot of elite paratroopers. At least two of the massive Il-76 transport planes were reported to have "burst into flames" by the state-run Tass news agency.
