Good day! I am Francine Syke M. Siscar, a proud 12 year old graduating student of Adriatico Memorial School. I belong to the class of Grade 6 SSES/Amber. I have been learning for 7 years in AMS since kinder 2 up until 6th grade. Along the way, I've made some good memories, friends, and experiences I could never forget.
One funny encounter I've had in 5th grade was when my friend Lee and I went to "bagong pook" to buy something. We were buying from this one store when all of the sudden a random kid startled us. When we looked back to face the kid, he then realised we weren't the people he knew so he just ran away. Since then, we started laughing non-stop until we entered the classroom and told our other friends about it.
February 23, 2024 most of the girlscouts in my class and I along with some advisers and girlscouts from other sections, went to Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro for our Provincial encampment. Other divisions joined as well which made it more fun and exciting! They held a lot of fun activities in the span of three days such as: hiking, scout's own, corsage making, and much more! We had a lot of fun but I'll admit it is pretty hard and challenging mentioning the fact that we had to look for bathrooms we can shower in. Some of my classmates decided to skip bathing because the water flow is slow. Cristal, my close friend's birthday was on February 24th so we planned on surprising her 1 week before the encampment. Our plan was to wake up at 12:00am midnight and give her the cake we bought and sing her a song. In my perspective, the first day was already tiring so I immediately fell asleep when our adviser said it was time to hit the sack. A few hours later, Jhustin woke me up and told me to get up because they were about to give Cristal the cake. My mind couldn't process properly at that time because I just woke up so I decided to ignore her and fall asleep again. Around 1 or 2:30 am in the morning, Our adviser scolded those who were still awake and she advised them to sleep so they can have enough energy for tomorrow. On the morning of the last day, we started packing our bags and things before going on our last activity which is hiking. Although, we thought we were going on an actual forest to go hiking but it turns out we went "hiking" more like walking on the side of the road. We didn't expect for it to happen, but it was fun because of the chat we had on the way. When we were close to our destination, the rain started pouring. I forgot to bring my umbrella so I stayed close to my friend to share the umbrella. Our destination was up in a really steep hill. Not to mention our feet was already sore from all the walking we did and going up a hill made it more harder. When we reached it, we took shelter at the mini gym the place had as the rain drops started falling harder. Few minutes later, the rain ended and it was time to go back to camp. But before we did, we went and took some pictures which made all the walking totally worth it. Flashback on the first day when we just arrived at MINSU, Kizea, Marga, and I decided to explore the campus while waiting for our classmates to arrive. As I've remembered we have waited them for more or less 3 hours. While we were taking a stroll near the gate entrance, we noticed some guys around their mid 20's selling bracelets. The tulip bracelet really caught my eye because it was well known on Tiktok and I've been wanting one since then. We quickly approached the stall and asked for the prices. I brought some money with me but then remembered it was in my bag inside the locked car. The walk to the car is a bit far and I didn't have the key so I asked Marga if she could buy one for me and I'll pay her back once I get my bag. Since it is the day before Cristal's birthday, we decided to buy a bracelet and split the payment (the tulip bracelet was 50 pesos and my share on the bracelet was 25 pesos totaling 75 pesos). Till this day, I haven't payed Marga back.
But something I will never forget out of all my memories in Adriatico is definitely all the laughter, ups and downs, happiness, and excitement. I will miss all of my friends, classmates, and teachers. Big thanks to all especially my teachers, Ma'am Diane, Ma'am Añonuevo, Maam Erlinda, Ma'am Charity, Ma'am Lenevi, Ma'am Catherine, Ma'am Meldy, Ma'am Joan, Ma'am Rona, Ma'am Evora, Ma'am Darla, Sir Dhan, Ma'am Ivie, Ma'am Lolong, Ma'am Karren, Ma'am Pulhin, Ma'am Jamaica, Ma'am Diane, and Ma'am Roxanne.
