poems on godhood

. "Ascension's Call" Mortals yearn for godhood, with hearts ablaze, Seeking powers divine, through endless maze, In their quest for immortality's embrace, They climb the mountaintops, seeking grace. But mortal frames cannot contain the might, Of gods who dwell in realms beyond our sight, Yet in their striving, mortals find their worth, For in the pursuit of godhood, they unearth.

2. "The Divine Within" In the depths of mortal souls, a spark ignites, A yearning for godhood, a celestial flight, Seeking wisdom's elixir, to transcend the mundane, They delve into mysteries, seeking to attain. But mortal flesh, a vessel bound to earth, Cannot bear the weight of godly birth, Yet in their striving, mortals find their light, For the divine resides within, shining bright.

3. "The Eternal Quest" Mortals tread a path, seeking godhood's grace, Through trials and tribulations they embrace, They climb the stairway to the heavens high, Yearning for immortality, reaching for the sky. But mortal beings, bound by time and space, Cannot ascend to godhood's sacred place, Yet in their striving, mortals find their way, To leave a legacy that will forever stay.

4. "The Mortal's Offering" Mortals kneel before altars, hearts aflame, Seeking godhood's blessing, to be the same, They offer prayers and sacrifices, divine plea, Yearning to transcend, to become deity. But mortal essence, fragile and finite, Cannot attain the heights of godly might, Yet in their striving, mortals find their peace, For in the act of devotion, their souls release.

5. "The Mortal's Prayer" Mortals whisper prayers, to gods unseen, Seeking godhood's touch, to intervene, They reach out with longing, to touch the divine, Yearning for immortality, an eternal sign. But mortal voices, mere echoes in the wind, Cannot summon gods, who dwell beyond our ken, Yet in their striving, mortals find their voice, In the power of prayer, they rejoice.

6. "The Mortal's Reverence" Mortals bow before idols, in humble awe, Seeking godhood's favor, with hearts in awe, They offer reverence, with devotion's might, Yearning to ascend, to reach celestial height. But mortal bodies, bound by earthly ties, Cannot ascend to where the divine resides, Yet in their striving, mortals find their grace, In honoring the gods, they find their place.

7. "The Mortal's Acceptance" Mortals come to realize, in wisdom's light, That godhood is not attained through mortal might, They embrace their mortality, with open heart, Finding beauty in the mortal's transient art. For in their striving, mortals find their truth, That godhood lies in living, in the eternal youth, Of embracing mortality, with love and care, For in the mortal's journey, divinity is there.
