Mr. Daniel Damola, the CEO and founder of SRHD Sports Management Limited, accompanied by his wife and team, met with the Commissioner of Sports Development in Cross River state. Mr. Damola oversees several sports federations, each aimed at promoting a diverse range of sports in Nigeria such as curling, ice hockey, and sports climbing, among others.

The purpose of the visit was to establish a partnership with the ministry in order to introduce a variety of sporting activities that would position Cross River state as a leading sports hub in Nigeria. Mr. Damola and his team expressed their commitment to enhancing the sports landscape in the state and fostering growth opportunities for athletes.

In response, Hon. Agnes Atsu, the Commissioner of Sports Development, extended her gratitude to the team for choosing Cross River state as their focal point. She assured them of the ministry’s support in creating a conducive environment for their endeavors to flourish. She also highlighted the commitment of His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, to promoting youth-friendly initiatives in the state.
