Baskadia

The story is about a young couple, Jim and Della, who are living in poverty and are struggling to buy each other Christmas gifts. Della has beautiful long hair that she is proud of, and Jim has a pocket watch that he inherited from his grandfather, which is his most prized possession.

In order to buy Jim a gift, Della sells her hair to a wig maker. With the money she receives, she buys Jim a chain for his watch. Meanwhile, Jim sells his watch to buy Della a set of combs for her hair.On Christmas day, they exchange their gifts and realize that they have both sacrificed their most precious possessions for each other. Despite their disappointment, they are happy that they have shown their love for each other through their sacrifices.
