A story about ADA and her journey through success

Episode 1.

My name is ADA but my friends call me A.D for shot!

yeah! I came from a single parent, lost my mum long time ago cos of Cancer ♋, infact it was through this great lost that I strongly stand strong that I'll go to school.

I hail from Anambra state

I have a junior brother who is has always being a source of encouragement, he is young and tender, I'm 19nth getting to 20 by next month, we live in the big city of Onitsha, at Tarzan , the no man's land, very busy as always, 24/7days , the city of Onitsha always busy with business and loaded with traffic..

THE PAST...... 💬

at ss1 I lost my mum due to lack of funds, then my dad was working at magazine closer to egetin, he works in a post office but unfortunately the place was sold to other business men, so back to my story, I lost my mum due to lack of funds, she developed breast cancer we tried by all means to save my mum's life all to no avail, my dad had to run here and there to cut and join but yet the stipulated money wasn't met.

2.3million was to much for a post office worker, back then he was earning little, it wasn't even enough to afford 3 square meal, not to talk of raising 2million, though we sold our land at Nkwele, the land that was meant for business, we sold it and we were able to raise the money up to 1.8million we pleaded with the doctors to take that for a start but they refused

becos there have been dis encouraged to take for a start but later on the patients refuse to balance up, so it was no complete money no treatment, few hours later my mum died, we cried I and my family cried but crying won't bring back the dead, few weeks later we buried her and since then I and my brother were left with my dad.

it's better to have a mum as a single parent than a dad, though I was a bit lucky cos my dad was the caring type, he was so much a bit like my mum so not long enough I got acquainted with him and life was going.

THE PRESENT 👇

Now I'm in my ss3 and 19yrs old, July next month I'll be 20th and the thoughts of registering my waec exams enveloped my mind, I decided to skip schools and do minor jobs, months later I was able to raise half of the money, unknown to my my junior brother saved for me and the other way round my dad gave me another and finally I got the complete money and I resumed school and paid the money..........

to be continued
