Failed land

A brother was lynched

A sister was raped

A contract was breached;

On the planet of apes 

We long to be free

But our top priority is to be safe

We all saw a freedom fighter jumped off that tree

 and his life got shaved

We want the world to be a safe space for us

We are dying of the fire we rekindled 

We need some saints to pray for us

For the sake of humanity, do what majority couldn’t do

Father! Father!! Save us

Those we trust have failed us
