A solitary soul in a crowded street,

Feeling lost and incomplete.

In a world so full of life,

Why does it feel like there's so much strife?

The laughter of others echoes in my ear,

But it only serves to deepen my fear.

For I am alone in this endless sea,

With no one to understand or comfort me.

But still I soldier on, through the pain and strife,

Hoping one day to find some meaning in life.

For though I am lonely, I will not despair,

For I know that I will find someone who'll care.

And until then, I'll find comfort in my dreams,

Where love and happiness forever beams.

For life may be cruel, but hope still shines,

And I'll find my way out of the darkness, one day, in time.
